Renewed Ford Fiesta from €20,390

The redesigned Ford Fiesta presented to the world in mid-September differs mainly in appearance from the original presented at the end of 2016. The Fiesta got a new nose on Ford’s drawing boards, complete with new headlights and a larger grille. Regardless of the chosen version, you now have standard LED headlights and the versions with Vignale addition have, just like the former ST and now ST-X 200 hp strong sporty top version of the Fiesta, a 12.3-inch large digital instrumentation. Ford already brought engines with mild-hybrid technology to the Fiesta in 2020 and therefore the facelift brought little new in the engine area. However, the versions in which Ford supplies the Fiesta have been revised.

The 200 hp strong Ford Fiesta ST is now on the price list as ST-X

The starting price of the Ford Fiesta is €20,390. For that amount you can drive the Fiesta with a 75 hp 1.1 petrol engine and a five-speed manual transmission, as Connected. That is the only version in combination with which you can get that turbo-less petrol engine in the Fiesta. One step above is the 100 hp 1.0 Ecoboost petrol engine with six-speed manual transmission. It is available as Connected and Titanium and costs respectively €21,275 and €22,575. The only other conventional petrol version is immediately a fat one. The formerly ST called sporty top version is now – just like the top version of the Puma – ST-X and costs €34,975.

Hybrid

Are those the only engines with which Ford supplies the new Fiesta? Well no. As before, there is also a 125 hp version of the 1.0 Ecoboost three-cylinder, a block that is always assisted by a 48v system. The 125 hp 1.0 Ecoboost is therefore always equipped with mild-hybrid technology and is called 1.0 Ecoboost Hybrid by Ford. That machine can be linked to a six-speed manual transmission, but is also available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. However, Ford is canceling the Connected version for the Ecoboost Hybrid and so the price list for this engine version now starts with the Titanium version. Ford asks an amount of €23,385 for the 1.0 Ecoboost Hybrid Titanium with manual transmission. You will lose €25,535 for the same version with automatic transmission.

Ford Fiesta

The other versions are also slightly different than you are used to. Above the Titanium, as before, is the Titanium X, ST-Line, ST-Line X and Active X. The separate Vignale version will be canceled, instead you can make ‘Vignale versions’ for an additional cost of €1,475 of the Titanium, ST-Line and Active. Compared to the Titanium X and Active X, these versions called Titanium Vignale, ST-Line Vignale and Active Vignale include the 12.3-inch digital instrumentation, 17-inch (Titanium) or 18-inch (ST- Line and Active) alloy, upholstery with suede inserts, special door sill panels, a heated windscreen, illuminated mirrors in the sun visors, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats and special floor mats front and rear. These Vignale versions are only available in combination with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
