Nice and fresh
The 992 generation of the Porsche 911 is almost ready for the second round. The 911 Targa also happily participates in this. We now get to see it in its new form.
The refreshed Porsche 911 that our spy photographer spotted in the far north does not have many surprises in store. Porsche has been testing the modified 992 for some time now. In fact, the first sign of it already came in 2022. In all that time, there has been no sight of the updated Porsche 911 Targa, but that will change today.
Just like the recently spotted facelifted Porsche 911 Turbo, there is not much hidden on this Targa. Here too it is clearly visible that something has changed, especially at the rear. In fact, we see it even better here than on the Turbo. There is still a bend upwards at the corners of the rear lights, but here it is better to see that the lighting itself no longer ‘goes up’. This first became clear last fall, when on a (presumed) 911 GTS. In any case, this Targa shares some external features, because here we also see a modified front bumper with a lot of panels in it. Furthermore, there are two thick exhaust pipes at the bottom of the bottom in the middle. This is probably a Targa GTS.
The curtain will probably go up on the updated 911 within the next six months. The current Porsche 911 Targa was only unveiled about a year and a half after the arrival of the 992 generation, so we may have to wait a little longer for the facelifted Targa.
