Strikingly renovated
The recently facelifted Renault Captur can already be ordered. Although the Renault Captur has been considerably improved, the updated model is no more expensive than the version before the facelift. In fact, it is actually less expensive!
The Renault Captur is a real success for the French. The compact crossover was updated quite thoroughly in early April. The Captur received a completely new front and, among other things, a new infotainment system. Cars often become more expensive than they were after a makeover, but that is not the case with the Captur. The Renault Captur is available from €28,690, while previously it was in the order books for a minimum of €29,990. Not only is the Captur with basic engine cheaper than before, the crossover is at least several hundred euros less expensive across the board.
The starting price of €28,690 applies to the Renault Captur with 90 hp and 160 Nm strong 1.0 TCe, a petrol engine that is always linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. Naturally, the entry-level price applies to the basic Evolution version. As before, the Renault Captur is available again with many different powertrains. It is also available with TCe 100 BiFuel, a 100 hp machine that uses petrol and LPG. It is also always linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Captur that requires LPG is only available as a Techno and costs €31,290 in that form.
Would you prefer a mild-hybrid powertrain? No problem. Renault also offers the updated Captur with a 158 hp mild-hybrid petrol engine. That drivetrain is always linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission and is available – as Techno – from €35,590. Fully hybrid is also possible, with the 145 hp Renault Captur E-Tech Full Hybrid 145. The delivery range of the hybrid Captur starts with the Evolution and has a starting price of €31,990. The plug-in hybrid Captur previously disappeared from the price list and does not seem to return after the facelift.
