Renewed Symfonisk table lamp with WiFi speaker from Ikea and Sonos

In 2019, Ikea and Sonos launched the first Symfonisk collection, including a table lamp speaker. When designing the new version, Ikea and Sonos focused on an even better light and sound experience. The design has also been given a makeover, you can now opt for a lampshade made of glass or textile, for example.

The new Symfonisk table lamp with WiFi speaker offers even more options for personalization than the first variant. For example, the base and the cover of the speaker are now available separately, so you can make different combinations. The base is available in white and black and the shade in textile and glass – both also in white and black. The lampshades spread warm and diffused light. The new table lamp has a large fitting (E27), so that you can vary even more with the strength and colors of the light.

Light and sound
Lighting and music are determining factors for the atmosphere in the house. By integrating light and sound into one product, you can save space and set the mood at the touch of a button. The WiFi speaker conducts sound waves throughout the room and ensures a harmonious sound in the house. The speaker connects via Wi-Fi and can be used as the only sound source in a room or can be connected to other Sonos products, including those from the Symfonisk range.

In 2019, Ikea and Sonos joined forces with the launch of the Symfonisk collection, which consisted of a bookshelf speaker and a table lamp speaker. In June of this year, the companies expanded the collection with a picture frame speaker. Symfonisk combines Ikea’s home furnishing and design knowledge with Sonos’ expertise in the field of sound experience.

Prices and availability
The prices are: lamp base with WiFi speaker € 129, glass shade € 30 and textile shade € 20. The renewed table lamp speaker will be available online from mid-November and in all Ikea stores.
