Screens with screens
It has been almost three years since Volkswagen presented the current generation of the Golf and so the management in Wolfsburg has long and broadly considered a modernized version. The new Volkswagen Golf can be seen in these photos, although you hardly notice it from the outside. However, we can already show you the renewed interior of the facelifted Golf.
Volkswagen pulled the curtain on the current eighth generation Golf in October 2019. In less than a month, the Volkswagen Golf will be three years old and that means that it will not be long before we see more of the renewed Golf. In these spy photos we see a white test sample of the sharpened Golf, although there are no external adjustments yet. It is very likely that the competitor of cars such as the Ford Focus, Peugeot 308 and Opel Astra will be tackled visually, although for the time being we can only show you what will change inside the car.
Our photographer managed to point the lens of his camera at the interior of this white Golf, resulting in some interesting photos. The interior of this prototype, which is packed with cables, wires, wires and switch units, shows that the Volkswagen Golf gets a significantly larger infotainment screen. Just like the current screens with which the Golf is available, the new copy is in the middle of the dashboard. It is, however, considerably larger than the up to 10-inch copies that you now know from the Golf.
What Volkswagen also has in store for the Golf will undoubtedly become clear in the coming months. We expect that the test work with the facelifted Golf will only be expanded, with more concrete prototypes on the road as a logical consequence.
