Pre-facelift ID3 remains on at a discount
The starting price of the renewed Volkswagen ID3 drops by more than €2,000 due to the arrival of a new version: the Pro. But there is more news: the pre-facelift ID3 will remain on for a while and is already available from just under €36,000.
The Volkswagen ID3 underwent a facelift earlier this year and appeared in a refreshed form in the Dutch price lists for the first time in May. For the time being, the updated Volkswagen ID3 was only available as a Pro Business with a 58-kWh battery and 204 hp electric motor and as a Pro S and Pro S Business with a 77-kWh battery and identical electric motor. There is now a new version: the Pro. The Volkswagen ID3 Pro costs €42,690 and is therefore €2,300 cheaper than the ID3 Pro Business (€44,990).
Just like the Pro Business version, the Volkswagen ID3 Pro has the 58 kWh battery and the 204 hp electric motor on the rear axle. That combination gives the ID3 Pro a range of 429 kilometers. The ID3 Pro has the Ready to Discover infotainment system with 12-inch screen, automatic climate control, a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel and electrically folding and heated door mirrors as standard. Lane assist is standard, as is adaptive cruise control and rear parking sensors.
Pre-facelift Volkswagen ID3 from stock
Volkswagen still has a small fleet of ID3s from before the facelift. These are called ID3 Pro Advantage or ID3 Pro Edition Advantage and are temporarily available from stock. They always have the 58-kWh battery. The ID3 Pro Advantage is available from €35,990 and has adaptive cruise control, navigation, Lane Assist, Front Assist and parking sensors as standard. The Pro Edition Advantage costs €38,990 and is even more spacious in its stuff.
