There is a good chance that you also keep digital lists – for example with notes or tasks that you still have to do – and use simple apps such as Notepad. That is of course simple, but it does mean you miss valuable functions, such as the ability to structure information. The makers of Microsoft Lists are changing this. As the name suggests, the app mainly focuses on recording and structuring all kinds of data. You can start with a clean slate, but you can also use existing templates.

Also interesting is the option to share the lists with others, for example in your household or at work. Unsurprisingly, the software also integrates with other Microsoft solutions. The integration with Microsoft Teams is a good example of this: during a meeting you can create a list of activities in Lists and then share it with the attendees. You can also import existing lists from other document formats, such as Microsoft Excel or from a comma-delimited document. If you get started, the number of lists can grow quickly. Via the favorites function you can mark frequently used lists, which are then given a prominent place at the top.

You can use the app in different ways: via mobile, desktop and on the web. If you use it intensively, we recommend the desktop version.
