Opera has been quite active lately with releasing new browser versions.
Opera GX is a good example: a new browser for Android specifically aimed at gamers. The foundation is the ‘standard’ Opera browser, but adapted to their specific needs. For example, the browser has options that allow you to limit processor, memory and network usage. That means there are more resources left for a game and you run less risk of performance suffering from using the browser.
The browser is customizable with different (futuristic) skins and knows a GX Corner. This is a separate section that houses game-related news and offers. This gives us a mixed feeling: on the one hand interesting information (such as a calendar with game releases) and on the other hand a lot of promotional messages. Some features are limited to the desktop version of this browser, but are no less interesting.
Convenient for gamers is the integration with Twitch, which allows you to follow channels of other gamers. You can also set it to notify you as soon as your fellow gamer has an update.
