Rolls-Royce records best quarter in 116 years

Yesterday it was briefly passed in a general news report about the results of parent company BMW, but today we would like to reflect on the quarter that Rolls-Royce has had. That was the best in the 116-year history of the brand.

Compared to the first quarter of 2020 – admittedly, not the best example – the increase in sales is a whopping 61.8 percent. According to Rolls-Royce, there was also an increase worldwide, with the US, China and the rest of Asia Pacific.

In total, Rolls-Royce sold 1,380 cars, enough to put the previous record from 2019 in the history books. That can certainly be called remarkable, certainly in the midst of the ongoing corona misery.

On the other hand, Rolls-Royce has its product portfolio in good order. For example, there is just a new generation of ‘entry-level’ Ghost, which is very popular for Rolls-Royce standards. Then of course there is also the Cullinan. According to the British, the SUV is good for an order book that covers the production places until well into the second half of this year.
