1. Apple unveils paid service with exclusive podcasts
For a fixed monthly fee, Apple’s new podcast service gives you access to exclusive audio shows. Apple will present the service during the Spring Loaded event, the first Apple event in 2021. The new podcast service gives subscribers access to an exclusive range of shows for a fixed amount per month. The podcast service will have a permanent place in the Podcasts app, which is installed by default on all Apple devices. After logging in with your Apple ID you can take out a subscription per show. 2. This is the AirTag: smart Apple tracker helps you find things
Apple has officially unveiled the AirTag. You use this little tracker to find lost items. The AirTag is about the size of a bottle cap and fits on your key ring. The arrival of the AirTag was not a big secret. The new tracker has been popping up frequently for a long time via leaked screenshots, test versions of iOS and rumors. 3. Apple TV 4K (2021) has faster hardware, better remote control

Before the Apple event, we weren’t sure if the new Apple TV would be unveiled, but now the device is here. The Apple TV 2021 succeeds the Media Box from 2017 and features faster hardware and other useful improvements. The device is controlled by the A12 Bionic chip. The powerful processor is important, because it allows the Apple TV to better handle games on Apple Arcade. Movies also look a lot better thanks to the improved color balance.

4. Apple unveils purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, available to order on Friday
Surprise! Apple kicked off the first Apple event of 2021 with a brand new iPhone color. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in purple from Friday. Apple CEO Tim Cook presented the new color personally. The ‘iPhone 12 Purple’ can be ordered from next Friday in the Netherlands. The first copies will be delivered on April 30. It is unclear how large the stock is, but with the iPhone 12 the delivery time quickly increased with certain colors. It could therefore just be that the purple iPhone 12 will take longer after Friday than April 30. The suggested retail price of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will remain unchanged, as will the available storage capacities. That will only change when the iPhone 13 appears in the fall.
