The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G does not hold many secrets for us, as the details had already been announced earlier. The phone will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen reinforced by Gorilla Glass 5. The screen refresh rate is 60 Hz, as opposed to the 90 Hz of its predecessor, the Galaxy A22. We also see the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the same as that of the A22, and a 5,000 mAh battery. There is also 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage in the phone. You can charge the 5,000 mAh battery at a speed of 25 watts.

The Galaxy A23 5g does not have a fingerprint scanner in the screen, but on the side. In terms of cameras, you can choose from a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera can be found in the V-shaped notch and gets 8 MP. The Galaxy A23 runs on Android 12 and One UI 4.1 and will likely be in the category of four to five years of security updates.

Price and availability

It is still unknown when the phone will be in stores and what price tag will be attached to it. Its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A22 had a suggested retail price of 229 euros.
