The Samsung Galaxy S22 and the new Tab S8 series were presented on Wednesday. Last week, Androidworld was already shown all devices during a Samsung event in Brussels. Why can the Galaxy S22 only charge with 45W and why did Samsung choose a 14.6 inch screen with the Tab S8 Ultra? You will discover it in our video.
Samsung interview
The Samsung Galaxy S22 with its Ultra variant that resembles the Note series has now finally been announced. We also got to see Samsung’s massive 14.6-inch tablet that now comes with a range of new apps that work with the S Pen. In addition, we also compared all phones from the S22 series on Androidworld.
Last Friday we were able to ask Samsung a series of questions during an event in Brussels. Why was the Ultra variant equipped with typical Note features? And the Galaxy S22 may have the same chipset as the other phones, but it can only charge 25W fast compared to 45W of the Plus and Ultra variant. Why did Samsung make that choice? It is also noticeable that the Galaxy S22 and the Plus version are smaller compared to the S21 series, while Samsung does opt for larger tablets. what is the strategy behind it?
Decline in market share and photography
In addition, we confronted Samsung with a recent piece of news. Its 2021 premium phones have lost market share against Apple. Is the brand confident it can turn the tide with the S22 range? In terms of photography, what does Samsung think is the most important improvement with the new phones? You can learn all about these questions and others in the video interview below with PR manager Sven Adams of Samsung Belgium.
