The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be announced soon and that means the flood of rumours, leaks and renders running at full throttle. This time it’s Concept Designer Ben Genskin who created a press image of the Galaxy S22 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Ultra on Twitter shares and LetsGoDigital managed to get hold of the complete poster. In these images, the back of the housing with the camera module of both phones can be seen very clearly.
Galaxy Note 20 look-a-like
What immediately catches the eye is the design and color of the S22 Ultra. It would be the color Turkish Rose, which, according to LetsGoDigital in addition to the colors black, white, green and red. The curves on the side and the color are immediately reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the color Mystic Bronze. With that, the rumor that Samsung will stop with the Note series is getting stronger. Samsung would shift its focus to foldable smartphones.
The rumors that the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will have a camera island are also confirmed by this image. This design is recognizable because this year’s Galaxy S21 series also have such a camera island. We already know about the S22 Ultra that this phone will not get a camera island, but a row of three and a row of two lenses. This design is also reflected in the press image. By omitting the camera island, Samsung would like to save on weight. That would come in handy since the S Pen on this model would get a place in the housing. Unfortunately, we do not see whether that is the case in the image, but the S Pen is shown next to the S22 Ultra.
