Samsung was the first Android company to stop supplying chargers with its flagships. A new leak now shows that Samsung may no longer supply chargers with the cheaper A and M series.
No more supplied charger
Apple was the first smartphone manufacturer to decide not to include a charger as standard with its devices. After that, Samsung decided not to do this anymore with their high-end phones. The budget devices were always out of reach, but that may be about to change. Tweeter Yogesh Brar tipped that the new models of the Galaxy A and M series will no longer include chargers in the box. a little earlier he already shared on Twitter that the Galaxy F23 will not include a supplied charger either.
It is not certain whether this is only the case in India or whether the upcoming A and M series will also ship without a charger in the rest of the world.
Extra cost
Whether this is a smart move by Samsung, the future will show. The cheaper Galaxy series make phones more accessible to a large audience. Getting a charger from this segment can make a big difference for these people. They would then have to pay extra for a charger on top of the purchase price. Those who already had a Samsung phone before can use the old charger again. However, the budget series are purchased by many as the first device. Those users do not have the option to use an old charger.
