Renault recently brought LPG machines back to the Captur and now the Renault Clio is also available with a petrol engine that also uses LPG in addition to petrol. That means spending less money at the pump!
Until the second half of 2021, Renault also supplied the Clio in the Netherlands with the TCe 100 Bi-Fuel engine, a power source that also uses LPG in addition to petrol. The Renault Clio had to make do without an LPG machine for a long time. Until now. Renault recently brought a Bi-Fuel version back to the Captur delivery range and now the Renault Clio is also available as Bi-Fuel again.
The Renault Clio with TCe 100 Bi-Fuel machine has 100 hp and 170 Nm. The 1.0 three-cylinder is always linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. The average consumption on LPG is set at 7.0 l/100 km. Naturally, LPG consumption is higher than the combined consumption of petrol (5.4 l/100 km). However, you will spend considerably less on a liter of LPG than on a liter of E5 or E10.
The Renault Clio TCe 100 Bi-Fuel is available in Evolution version from €24,690. This makes it slightly more expensive than the cheapest Clio. It has a 91 hp 1.0, only uses petrol and costs €23,890 for the same version. The Clio TCe 100 Bi-Fuel is also available in Techno trim and costs €26,690. Top version Esprit Alpine passes the nose of the Clio-with-LPG machine.
