Seat announces first prices Leon

Seat shares the first prizes of the brand new Leon. Initially, there is a choice of three petrol engines and one diesel. Strikingly enough, the Sportstourer is cheaper than the five-door hatchback.

Seat opens the order books of the new Leon. The entry price for the new Leon is € 30,525. Strangely enough, one buys the larger-sized Sportstourer. This is because Seat chooses to deliver the least powerful engine for the time being only in the station wagon. It is the 1.5 TSI with 130 hp. Seat puts the Leon in this case in a Style Launch Edition. The five-door hatchback is initially available from € 31,495. This version gets the 150 hp 1.5 TSI in the front and is only available as a more luxurious FR Launch Edition. The mild hybrid 1.5 eTSI with 150 hp is also available from today. This version is the only one of the three linked to a DSG machine and is now available as a Style Launch Edition for € 33,425.

Dieselen is currently only available with the five-door Leon, equipped with the 115 hp 2.0 TDI. In this case too, Seat supplies the car as a Style Launch Edition. The Style Launch Edition includes navigation, a reversing camera, Park Assist and adaptive cruise control. In the FR version, Seat also adds full LED headlights, a sports suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels and special FR bumpers. The Leon has also been slightly lowered as FR.

The entry prices for the real basic versions and the other motorizations such as the 1.0 TSIs and plug-in hybrids will follow at a later date. The fixed additional price for the Leon Sportstourer has now been set at € 1,200.
