In early January, Apple hosted another ‘Shot on iPhone Challenge’ and the winners have now been announced. These are the best macro photos taken with the iPhone 13 Pro (Max)!
Shot on iPhone Challenge: the winners
In January of this year, Apple had organized a new competition. Every photographer, from amateur to professional, could participate to take the most beautiful macro photo. There was an important rule that you had to comply with: the photo had to be taken with the iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Why specifically the iPhone 13 Pro (Max)? With the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, you can take beautiful, sharp close-ups of subjects less than two centimeters away. This macro mode is therefore a great opportunity for a photo competition.
Today the winners of the Shot on iPhone Challenge were announced. We show you our 3 favorites. Want to see all the winners’ photos? Then check it out overview of the Shot on iPhone Challenge winners† The photos were judged by ten judges from different countries.
1. “Sea Glass” by Guido Cassanelli from Buenos Aires, Argentinaie
The jury thought the photo was very beautiful and especially the psychedelic colors were beautiful. The presence of symmetry in the photo was also very much appreciated.
2. “Art in Nature” by Prajwal Chougule from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India
A superb example of a simple, yet beautiful image. The water droplets form small pearls in the spider web. This made this photo one of the Shot on iPhone Challenge winners.
3. “Strawberry in Soda” by Ashley Lee from San Francisco, America
The bright color of the strawberry is beautifully reflected in this photo. The texture of the strawberry together with the air bubbles give a beautiful end result.
