Apple showed off Apple Intelligence with support for Siri at WWDC 2024. But you’ll have to wait until 2025 to use the feature.
Siri with Apple Intelligence not coming until 2025
According to Mark Gurman, you’ll have to wait quite a while to use the new version of Siri. In his most recent newsletter, he says that the new version of Siri (with Apple Intelligence) won’t be coming until iOS 18.4. That will be sometime in early 2025. The beta version will hopefully be available in January.

Apple Intelligence and the new version of Siri were revealed at WWDC 2024 in June. As the name suggests, Apple Intelligence is the feature with which Apple will go all-in on artificial intelligence.
Almost all Apple apps will be expanded with Apple Intelligence. Siri in particular will get a considerable upgrade. But then all kinds of functions will be added. For example, you will get a writing aid to rewrite and summarize texts. In addition, Siri will become much smarter, through the integration of ChatGPT and support for advanced (written) commands.
Apple Intelligence is coming to iPhone, iPad and Mac, but not all devices will get the new features. This has to do with the processing power needed to perform all the heavy tasks and the amount of RAM required. Only devices with the best processors will therefore get support for Apple Intelligence.
Apple Intelligence (with Siri) will only come to devices with the M1 chip, A17 Pro chip or later. Unfortunately, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will run on the A17 Pro chip. As a result, the new AI tech will only come to two versions of the entire iPhone lineup, but we do expect every iPhone 16 to get the features.
