Skoda has unveiled the first awards for its brand new electric car, the Enyaq iV. The price for the cheapest Enyaq is just under € 40,000.
With the Enyaq iV, a new era dawns for Skoda. It is the first Skoda that is available purely with electric drive. Now it is also known what price Skoda is at the beginning of this month unveiled Enyaq. You can start from € 39,990, thus confirming the Skoda the previously announced provisional price. For that price, you get the Enyaq iV 60 home. It has a 58 kWh battery pack, with which the 180 hp EV has a range of 390 km according to the WLTP cycle. Fast charging is possible with 50 kW or optionally with 125 kW and in the latter case, the battery can be brought from 10 to 80 percent charge in about 40 minutes.
A step higher in the range is the Enyaq iV 80. It has a 78 kWh battery pack on board, which, of course, allows you to drive longer on one charge. 510 km according to WLTP, to be precise. The 80 with its 204 hp also releases just a little more power on the rear wheels. It goes without saying that this version also offers fast charging options up to 125 kW. In addition, the Enyaq iV 80 is equipped with things such as a reversing camera and drive mode select on top of the standard equipment. The price of the Enyaq iV 80 is at least € 46,990.
The Enyaq iV 80 can be ordered immediately, the lower market Enyaq iV 60 is expected to be included in the order list in mid-October, according to Skoda. Later on, a real entry-level version will also appear in the form of the Enyaq iV 50, which kicks it up to 340 km on one battery charge and unleashes 149 hp at the rear wheels. At the top of the range, expansion will also follow, with the Enyaq iV 80 (266 hp and four-wheel drive) and even a real vRS version with 306 hp and four-wheel drive. According to Skoda, the latter should be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds. A WLTP range of 460 km applies to both the 80 and the vRS.
