The Octavia RS iV is eager to experience its digital debut. The Czech sportsman will be presented tomorrow, but not before Skoda shows another teaser image.
Fair is fair: the appearance of the new Octavia RS iV is no longer a surprise. The car has surfaced several times in camouflage trim and later even appeared almost without concealing sticker work. Skoda lifts the RS version of the Octavia on a digital stage tomorrow, but already shows the rear of the car.
The new Octavia RS gets the addition ‘iV’ and that indicates that the car is electrified. The Czech is not completely electric, but it does have a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It is the same power station as that of the already unveiled Volkswagen Golf GTE. A 1.4 TSI and an 85 kW electric motor together account for 245 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The Octavia RS is therefore just as powerful as its most potent predecessor. The electric range is also interesting. According to Skoda you have to be able to travel 55 kilometers electrically.
