Skoda pulls a very intense design study from the top hat. Meet the Vision GT, a modern interpretation of the Skoda 100 OHC racer from 1957. With an electric powertrain, of course.
Skoda is releasing two digital drawings of the Vision GT, a design study whose design, according to the Czechs, is inspired by the 1100 OHC from 1957. Like the 1100 OHC, the Vision GT is an open racer with a single seat.
The Skoda Vision GT has an electric powertrain that is not further highlighted by Skoda, but of course count on a solid dose of electric horses. Skoda imagines the Vision GT with a carbon fiber steering wheel. The information required by the driver is projected directly onto the visor of the driver’s helmet, as if it were a head-up display.
Is the Skoda Vision GT going into production? Very probably not, but it is something different than a Fabia, Octavia or SUV-like.
