SNS internet banking

SNS internet banking
Do you have a current account with the SNS bank? In this article we explain how you can bank via a personal environment on the internet.

Internet banking at SNS is part of ‘My SNS’, a personal online banking environment on the SNS website. For internet banking you need a so-called digipas. The digipas is a device that you log in to with a five-digit PIN code of your own design. During internet banking you occasionally have to log in to the digipas and enter a code. A new series of numbers will then appear on the digipas, which you must enter on the web page on which you are using internet banking. Do you have an account with SNS Bank, but no digipas? Please contact the SNS Customer Service.

Do you have a new digipas? This is only usable after activation via an activation code. The digipas and the activation code will be sent to you separately by post. Read on the page ‘Activate Digipass‘ from SNS customer service how to activate the digipas.

Tip: for people with a visual or motor impairment there is a speaking digipas or digipas with larger keys.

You can log in to ‘My SNS’ in three ways: with the digipas, via the SNS Mobile Banking app and with a so-called digicode. The digicode consists of a username and password. This allows you to quickly log in to internet banking, but then only view your transaction overview and exchange money within your own accounts. Therefore, we will not discuss this login method further in this article. Read more about the digicode.

Log in with the digipas as follows:

  • Go to the SNS Bank website: www.snsbank.nl. (Always check whether the website is secure. You can read how to do this in the tip ‘Recognize a secure website’. If this is not the case, please contact SNS Bank.)
  • Click on the top right login.
  • click on Digipass.
  • Click in the ‘Serial number digipas’ field and type the number on the back of your digipas. Note: without the dashes and spaces.
  • click on login.
  • Switch on the digipas by holding down the arrow to the right of the 0 for a while.
  • Enter your PIN code on the digipas.
  • On the web page you will see six large numbers in a purple area. Enter these numbers on the digipas. Note that this number sequence always starts with a 0.
  • Immediately after you have pressed the last digit, a new series of digits appears on the screen of the digipas. Click in the ‘Answer’ field and type the numbers on the digipas.
  • Finally click Login.

Log in with the SNS Mobile Banking app as follows:

  • Go to the SNS Bank website: www.snsbank.nl. (Always check whether the website is secure. You can read how to do that in the tip ‘Recognize a safe website‘. If this is not the case, please contact SNS Bank.)
  • Click on the top right login.
  • click on QR code.
  • Open the SNS Mobile Banking app on your mobile device, but do not log in yet.
  • Tap the QR code icon at the top right.
  • Point the camera at the computer screen.
  • Finally, log in to the app.

  • the current balance on your accounts;
  • the latest credits and debits;

There are a few options per account for the current balance of your accounts. Click on the arrow to the right of the balance of an account to directly choose:

In the left menu of ‘My SNS’ there are a few more parts that we would like to explain:

  • Scheduled transfers
    Here are the transfers that are scheduled for a date in the future.
  • Collection overview
    If you do not agree with a direct debit, have it reversed from this place (within two months).
  • Deposit and Withdraw
    If you also have a savings account with SNS Bank, deposit or withdraw money into the account here.
  • Institutions
    Adjust the internet banking environment and other personal settings here. For example, give your accounts your own names, so that they are easier for you to recognize than a number.

When you are done with internet banking, it is wise to log out. Click on the button at the top right Log out. Internet banking SNS: log out
