The German tuning company Gemballa is known for making Porsche’s more extreme for decades. After the death of founder Uwe Gemballa, other businessmen took over the company. However, the son of Gemballa now makes himself heard and comes with a tribute to his father.
Uwe’s 26-year-old son, Marc Philipp, breathes new life into his father’s company. He does that with Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH as a company name. As a former economics student, he understands that the world has changed a lot since the death of his father in 2010. “The battle for horsepower is over and brands themselves already come with much more extreme versions. You have to be able to offer something more special. ” Marc wants to prove himself in the extreme luxury segment. He does this with a brand new model that makes its debut on the exhibition floor in Geneva. That happens exactly ten years after the unfortunate death of his father. The teaser shows a first glimpse of the new ass.
Uwe Gemballa started his company in the early 1980s and has since created extreme versions of Porsches. In the late 90s the brand achieved a lot of fame by setting an almost unbeatable ring record on the Nürburgring. Uwe was found murdered in Johannesburg in South Africa in 2010. This was the result of money laundering operations that turned against him.
His son Marc is no longer a novice in the car scene, because his CV already includes brands such as Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
