The prices of the electric BYD Han are going down, but you don’t have to count on a sharp price drop. Overall, the BYD Han will be €1,000 less expensive. Every bit helps.
While practically everything is becoming considerably more expensive, BYD importer Louwman has managed to make the electric BYD Han less expensive, AutoWeek can report. The BYD Han used to have a starting price of €72,490, but is now €71,490 in the order books. That amount is for the BYD Han Executive Edition. The price of the BYD Han Emerald Edition also drops by €1,000. That top version is immediately available from €74,990 on the Dutch price list.
Regardless of the chosen version, the BYD Han has two electric motors with a combined 517 hp and 700 Nm that help the electric sedan from standstill to a speed of 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds. Its top speed: 180 km/h. The BYD Blade Battery has a net capacity of 85.4 kWh and helps the Han with a WLTP range of up to 521 kilometers.
The BYD Han is always on 22-inch light metal and, as an Executive, is already spacious in its stuff. An electrically operated tailgate is standard, as is a large sliding/tilting glass sunroof, electrically adjustable front and rear seats, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel and three-zone climate control. The Emerald Edition has extras such as Emerald Green-colored leather and black suede and a 50 Watt instead of 15 Watt powerful induction charger for your smartphone.
