Even €33,000 off for the more expensive version
The Lucid Air cost well over €100,000 in the Netherlands, but now the long-awaited milder Lucid Air Pure RWD is on the price list. As a result, the starting price drops significantly in one fell swoop. Other versions are also becoming considerably less expensive.
Until now, the Lucid Air could be ordered here in the Netherlands as Pure AWD, Touring, Grand Touring, Dream Edition and Dream Edition Performance. The Lucid Air Pure AWD was the least expensive, with a starting price of €115,000. However, Lucid now also includes a rear-wheel drive version of it in the price list. We saw this coming for some time, because Lucid has already presented it in its home country of the US and put it on offer for the equivalent of €73,294. Here in the Netherlands it costs a bit more: €88,000. Then you have the 442 hp Air with a driving range of up to 747 km (WLTP). It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds and, according to Lucid, you should be able to charge roughly 400 km of range in 20 minutes on a fast charger.
Although it is considerably more expensive here than in the US, the Air Pure RWD still lowers the Dutch starting price by €27,000. The gap to the next version is smaller, because Lucid immediately revises the delivery range and prices of the other versions. The Lucid Air Pure AWD is no longer available, the 628 hp four-wheel drive Lucid Air Touring is the next option. From now on it will cost at least €102,000, making it no less than €32,000 less expensive than before. One step above is the 831 hp Lucid Air Grand Touring. The starting price even drops to €33,000 (!) and now stands at €132,000. The crème de la crème is Lucid’s answer to the Tesla Model S Plaid: the Air Sapphire. The 1,251 hp version replaces the De Dream Editions and will be available in the Netherlands in the third quarter from €255,000.
