If all goes well, we will see the new iPhone 14 models this year. Unfortunately, according to the latest rumors, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will not get a new chip and will not get any faster.
iPhone 14 not faster
The iPhone 14 (Max) will not get any faster and will not get a new chip. That usually says reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in a tweet. According to him, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max still have the A15 chip, which you will also find in all models of the iPhone 13.
Are you planning to buy one of the Pro models? Then the Apple analyst has good news. Because these devices do get a speed boost and switch to the new A16 chip.

However, there are even more differences between the devices. They all get 6GB of RAM, but the Pro and Pro Max models get memory 1.5 times faster. In addition, this faster memory is also a lot more economical (about 30 percent).
Design without notch (but with holes)
It’s a shame that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are not rumored to be faster. What will probably change with the devices is the design. The notch (the black bar at the top of the screen) will probably disappear. Instead, the devices now get a few holes. However, it is not yet certain whether the notch will also disappear on all iPhone 14 models and how large the new holes will eventually become.

According to other rumors, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will probably have a 6.1-inch screen. The iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max have a 6.7-inch display. Were you hoping for a new mini? Then we have to disappoint you, because the iPhone 13 mini was probably Apple’s last mini iPhone.
