Colors, safety, equipment
Dacia has a number of minor changes ready for the Sandero and the Jogger. Safety in particular should improve, but there are also some external changes.
You may already be looking eagerly at the photos at the top of this article in the hope of spotting something new, but there’s a good chance you won’t see it. After all, there is no question of a facelift. Dacia gives the Sandero and Jogger more of a subtle model year update. The two Romanians are making progress, especially in the field of safety, because they will have to meet new EU safety requirements later this year. That is why the Sandero and Jogger get traffic sign recognition with speed warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, driver attention assist and light and rain sensors as standard. Advanced Emergency Braking is now also available. It all works thanks to a camera between the windshield and interior mirror, so no longer with sensors in the front bumper. Do you want to turn off systems? Then you can press a button on the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel.
There will also be new colors, including the Safari Beige shown on the Sandero Stepway, and new wheel designs. There is also now a USB-C connection in the front instead of a USB-A connection. The biggest interior news is for the Dacia Jogger Hybrid. It will have a brand new 7-inch digital instrument cluster. This is the same screen as is available in the new Dacia Duster. Finally, the Expression Sandero and Jogger now have a sticker on the front doors. It shows the Dacia logo and the GPS coordinate of the famous Transfagarasan Pass in Romania. According to some, the most beautiful mountain pass on our continent. Then you already know which coordinate you need to enter to go wild with your Sandero or Jogger. Always useful. The order books for the refreshed Sandero and Jogger will open next spring.
