Suzuki Alto (1985) – Enthusiast Wanted

If you are a regular visitor to AutoWeek.nl, you undoubtedly remember this nice Suzuki Alto. The undersigned came across that car in early August. We now find a very similar example (but definitely a different one) in our used car range.

This 38-year-old Suzuki Alto still seems to be in good condition, just like the one spotted. Probably a lot neater even. When we scroll through the photos, it is almost as if we go back in time to the late 1980s and encounter it as a young used car. This Alto is truly one you won’t soon encounter again. With the almost flawless seat upholstery, an at least optical lack of rust, neat steel wheels and a mileage (verifiable according to the supplier) of 78,530 km, this Alto almost seems to belong in a Suzuki museum rather than on the public road.

Maybe that is where this car ends up sooner or later, because it will probably be quite a job to find someone who wants to pick it up purely for the hobby for what is asked for it. The asking price is no less than €5,945. Now it is probably about the most beautiful you can find, so it doesn’t come completely out of the blue. Moreover, the Suzuki dealer who sells it believes in it so much that you get a three-month warranty on the technology. However, it remains a hefty amount for a car that does not really have a wide group of fans. But hey, who knows, maybe there is someone who thought: I have to have that Alto, spotted in the wild. Then this is a good opportunity!
