Renewed model comes to the Netherlands in second quarter
Suzuki Ignis
Suzuki presents the updated Ignis. A few striking external changes and an improved mild-hybrid system are the most important news items.
The Suzuki Ignis has been updated. The striking car is given some of the exterior features of the larger Vitara, including a grille with chrome elements and aluminum-colored inserts in the bumpers. The headlights are now equipped with LED technology as standard. To reinforce the new look, Suzuki offers three new colors: Tough Khaki, Caravan Ivory and Rush Yellow. On the photos you can see all three additions to the color palette.
Suzuki reports that the mild-hybrid system in the Ignis has been improved, reducing the small SUV’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. For the first time, the mild hybrid technology is also available in combination with a CVT automatic transmission.
The updated Ignis was unveiled in India and will be at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. In the second quarter of the year the newest edition comes to the Netherlands, the prices are not yet known.
