The ink of the brochure of the new Suzuki S-Cross has barely dried when we can already tell you what the new crossover should cost. The new Suzuki S-Cross has a starting price of just under €27,000 and can be seen live at Suzuki dealers from December 17.

With the new S-Cross, Suzuki continues the recipe known from its predecessor. In a literal sense even. The new S-Cross is a technical further development of the outgoing model, but it does have a completely new body and a new workplace. Suzuki’s latest crossover can be ordered immediately and has a starting price of €26,875.

That starting price applies to the Suzuki S-Cross in Comfort trim. For the time being, every Suzuki S-Cross has the 129 hp and 235 Nm strong 1.4 BoosterJet Smart Hybrid powertrain. That mild-hybrid and familiar power source from the previous S-Cross, which is assisted by a 14 hp starter generator, is for the time being the only engine version that you can get in the S-Cross. Next year, however, the Suzuki S-Cross will also be available with a full hybrid powertrain. Suzuki does not only supply the mild-hybrid S-Cross as a Comfort. It is also available as a €28,575 Select and as a Style that costs at least €30,575. The Suzuki S-Cross Select always has a six-speed manual transmission, the Select and Style versions basically have a six-speed manual transmission, but are also available with a six-speed automatic transmission and also with AllGrip four-wheel drive.

Equipment

Basic version Comfort already brings a nice standard equipment with it. For example, the S-Cross Select has adaptive cruise control, a speed limiter, full LED lighting all around, and an infotainment system tied to a 7-inch screen that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As far as safety systems are concerned, the Comfort version brings Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and Vehicle Sway Warning.

The Select version adds to the above, among other things, keyless entry, automatic climate control, heated front seats, blind spot detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Top version Style tops the S-Cross further with things like half leather upholstery, a 9-inch infotainment screen, 17-inch alloy and a 360-degree camera. The Style is the only version of the S-Cross that is optionally available with a glass sliding and tilting roof for which Suzuki asks €799.
