Tesla has put a new supercharger station into use in Eemnes. The location must provide a solution for traffic on the A1 and A27.
Just below Eemnes, right along the A27, the new fast charging point is operational from today. It is close to the Eemnes junction (A1 and A27) and so it should attract traffic from the A1 as well as traffic from the A27. There are so-called V3 Superchargers, which make it possible to charge with a charging capacity of up to 250 kW. By way of illustration: a Model 3 Long Range can thus top up 120 km driving range in 5 minutes. In total, it concerns 12 charging points.
It is a further extension of Tesla’s charging network with 32 fast charging locations. The majority of these can be found in or near the Randstad, in the east and north of the country the spread is still extremely thin. In the Achterhoek they are still completely missing and in Overijssel there is only one, near Zwolle. A new station will open in Hengelo soon. There is also only one in Drenthe, near Assen, but according to planning another one will be added this quarter, at Klazienaveen. In Friesland you are still dependent on the Superchargers at Drachten, but one will be added at the end of this year at the beginning of the Afsluitdijk.
