3: Apple ends web apps on iPhone in the EU due to regulations

Since iOS 16.4 it has been possible to install web apps on your iPhone. Unfortunately, this option will no longer be available in the EU from iOS 17.4 due to new regulations.
According to Apple, new rules mean that they can no longer offer web apps safely. This will no longer open the home screen shortcuts in full screen, but in the default web browser. This means that various extras for web app providers will no longer apply.
