Apple prepares the release of iOS 26! With iOS 26, many more functions and a new interface come to the iPhone. Apple introduces Liquid Glass, which gives almost all apps and menus a new design. The new ringtone of the iPhone is already available in the first test versions of iOS 26. In these test versions, the Ringtone Alt 1 is mentioned. It is the alternative to the standard ringtone of iOS 18, but will probably get a different name later. In test versions, Apple uses code names more often, which are adjusted in the final update. In iOS 26 you get a new ringtone here, which can be found in the test versions under ‘reflection’. There you have the choice of ‘standard’ and ‘Alt 1’ in the latest software version, with the last ringtone probably get another name. It is still unclear whether the new ringtone in iOS 26 will be set as standard, or whether the ring tone of iOS 18 remains available. You will at least get a new ringtone.
