These are the 5 best iOS games in May 2018
Although we only select five games per month, we still have a wide variety of titles for you. You can simply play some pool with a twist, dive into the human body with a wonderful puzzle game, or learn something about Lebensborn kids. And that’s not all. These are the games you should check out this month.
1. Pocket Run Pool
Pocket Run Pool is the latest game from game maker Zach Gage, known for Really Bad Chess and Flipflop Solitaire, among others. Once again he takes a well-known concept and gives it a unique twist. This time it is pool, in which you have to push the balls with a certain score into the hole with the highest doubler. The game plays away so well that you start a new game every time.
A limited version of the game is free. You can then do a ‘standard run’, in which you try to collect as many points as possible. You can also participate in a tournament. If you pay 4.49 euros once, you will unlock the full game, ads will be removed and you can play the ‘Break of the Week’.
2. Gay Machina
In this puzzle game you take a journey through the human body. The little people who work there control every part of the main character and, among other things, must ensure that food is properly processed and the heart beats. As a player you help by touching the right tools or by solving puzzles. The style and music are top notch and the game is educational too.
3. My Child Lebensborn
My Child Lebensborn is a whole different kind of game. This is a game that is more educational than fun. You adopt a Lebensborn child in Norway. Lebensborn children were born in the time of World War II to have more people with Aryan appearance.
Because of this history, the children grow up with a lot of hatred, while they themselves cannot do anything about their origin. The game wants to show how the war still makes victims long after the end, while you are simply trying to take care of a child who is being bullied.
Jurassic World Alive
The weather is getting better and better outside, so why not go out and play a game? Similar to Pokémon GO, Jurassic World Alive lets you go out to find and fight dinosaurs. This does not work by throwing Pokéballs at them, but by shooting darts via drones to collect DNA. With enough DNA you can make your own dinosaurs that you can fight with. So get out there and build your own Jurassic World.
5. Disney Heroes: Battle Mode
Join your favorite Disney heroes to ride the world in this game. Wreck-It Ralph ends up in a digital city, where a virus corrupts not only the world but also the heroes. This means you also have to fight other famous heroes from The Incredibles and Toy Story, among others. The battles are largely automatic, but by choosing the right heroes and gear you will be the winner. Hopefully the creators will add more Disney characters later.
