These are all the Apple products that are likely to be unveiled this fall. We expect a lot of them to be unveiled at the iPhone 16 event, but a few products may not arrive until later in 2024. That remains to be seen.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max

The new flagship iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are expected to receive major upgrades over last year’s models. Here are the expected highlights:

• Larger screens: 6.3 inches for the Pro model, 6.9 inches for the Pro Max (previous models were 6.1 and 6.7 inches).
• A dedicated ‘capture button’ for operating the camera.
• Camera upgrades including a better ultra-wide camera, better low-light performance, and 5x optical zoom.
• A18 Pro chip built for AI thanks to the enhanced Neural Engine.

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus

Unlike the Pro versions, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will get the same screen sizes as last year’s models. However, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus may get the same A18 Pro chip as the Pro and Pro Max models. Or perhaps we’ll see two new iPhone chips for the first time: an A18 for the lower-end models, and an A18 Pro for the higher-end models.

Another feature expected to come to all iPhone 16 models is a ‘capture button’ for camera functions. Other camera improvements and new color options are also expected for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, with the AI ​​features of iOS 18 being a major selling point.

AirPods 4

AirPods are also among Apple’s new products this fall. Apple plans to launch not one, but two separate AirPods 4 models. These two models will offer a cheaper and a more expensive option, with AirPods 2 and 3 expected to disappear from Apple’s lineup.

Both AirPods 4 models get a USB-C charging case and an updated design that looks like a combination of AirPods Pro and AirPods 3. Noise cancellation is likely exclusive to the more expensive model, as is support for the Find My feature.

AirPods Max 2

Finally, the AirPods Max are also likely getting an update this fall. The AirPods Max 2 will move from a Lightning to a USB-C port, and will likely gain a number of features that are currently exclusive to the AirPods Pro 2, such as Adaptive Audio, Call Detection, and Personalized Volume.

Apple Watch Series 10

Apple is going big with the new Apple Watch Series 10. Both the standard sizes are getting bigger. The smaller Watch will be about the same size as the current larger model, the larger option will be the same size as the Ultra.

The new Apple Watch will also have a slimmer body and a more powerful chip that could enable support for Apple Intelligence in the future. It could also include sensors for detecting high blood pressure and sleep apnea.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

The Apple Watch Ultra has been updated every year since its debut in 2022, and it’s once again among Apple’s new products this fall. Not much is known about this year’s Apple Watch Ultra 3. What’s certain is that the Ultra will, at a minimum, match the new capabilities of the Series 10 models, including a faster chip that’s better equipped for AI. It could also come with new sensors. One thing that many potential buyers are excited about is a black titanium option.

M4 MacBook Pro

The iPad Pro’s exclusive status as the only Apple device with an M4 chip is coming to an end soon. Apple is expected to release new MacBook Pro models with the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max this fall. Other than that, there likely won’t be any major design redesigns.

iPad mini 7

The iPad mini hasn’t been updated since 2021, but that looks set to change soon. After a year without new iPads, Apple plans to update its entire lineup this year, including the mini. Expect an improved display without ‘jelly scrolling‘ and a better chip. The iPad mini might even move to an M-class chip to support Apple Intelligence features.

iPad (11th generation)

Apple is also coming out with a new base model iPad this fall. Little is known about this new device, but expect a newer, more powerful chip in any case. Maybe some improvements to the Apple Pencil too. But probably no major redesign of the design.

M4 Mac mini

The Mac mini is also one of the new Apple products this fall. The new Mac mini will get the M4 chip and there will also be an M4 Pro option. But the biggest news is that the product will get a major redesign. The new mini will probably be a lot smaller and closer in size to the Apple TV 4K.

M4 iMac

Apple is also expected to release M4 iMacs before the end of 2024. Unlike the Mac mini, the new iMac probably won’t get a new design or any other major new features. Hopefully, this time around, it will at least come with USB-C accessories.

Maybe even more Apple products this fall?

There have also been some rumors about new Apple products coming in 2024. One is a new Apple TV 4K with a better chip, another is an update to the HomePod with an LCD screen on top. Neither update is particularly spectacular and neither adds support for Apple Intelligence. It remains to be seen whether they will arrive this year.
