Five times annoying

Is vacation a time of nothing but well-deserved laziness and relaxation, completely devoid of any kind of stress or frustration? Not always. Insurer Allianz Direct has found out what annoys the Dutch most during car holidays.
Do Beyoncé’s hit songs, Willeke Alberti’s compilation album or your partner’s umpteenth Finnish black metal album blow your mind in the car? Then get ready. The possibly dubious music taste of partners or children does not even appear in the list of the five biggest annoyances during car holidays. Allianz Direct has mapped out what annoys the Dutch most during car holidays. The biggest annoyance is hardly surprising.
Traffic jams. Where traffic jams cause a considerable amount of annoyance outside of holidays, standing in a row of cars during car holidays is apparently the greatest traffic annoyance. In second place in the major Holiday edition of the top five traffic annoyances, we find unclear traffic rules abroad. We are also annoyed by the feeling of having forgotten to take something with us. We find that often unjustified gnawing in the back of the mind in third place. In fourth place are unclear routes and roads abroad (getting lost). Children trying to fight each other out of the tent in the backseat closes the ranking of the biggest traffic annoyances during car holidays.
