Google Maps is not only popular, it is also just an excellent navigation app. However, that does not mean that the alternatives are less good. On the contrary. If you have had enough of Google Maps, then you can try one of these alternatives with confidence.

1. Waze

If you want to try an alternative because you would rather not use Google app, then you are at the wrong address at Waze. Waze has been around since 2006 but has been from Google since 2013. If you have no problems with that, then Waze is an excellent option.

The characteristic Van Waze is that the app uses the users to a large extent. This means that notifications from users are shared directly throughout the community, so that you are always aware of traffic jams and accidents on your route. 3. Here Wego

One of the lesser -known alternatives for Google Maps is the App Here Wego. This app also does the same as Google Maps, and gives you the option to opt for walking, driving and public transport, among other things. It is also possible to plan motorcycle routes, where you opt for a tourist route or not. If desired, you exclude motorways and set a maximum speed so that you can speed up.

Here Wego looks a bit like Waze, in the sense that users’ notifications are being used. For the time being, Waze seems to be a bit better at that, possibly because more people use it.
