Nature: Thomas Crowther, countless companies today advertise the plants of trees when you buy their products and services. Consuming for the forest – a good plan?

Crowther: Many companies destroy nature on a large scale to gain resources. Most of the products we buy in the supermarket contribute to the fact that forests are cut down. So it makes more sense to buy products from companies that have been shown to have a small footprint in their own supply chain than from companies that plant new trees, but for their core business
