This costs the new Audi A3 Sportback

That’s fast. A few days after the unveiling of the brand new A3 Sportback, Audi already announced the amounts it wrote on the Dutch price tags of its new hatchback.

The starting price of the new A3 Sportback is set at € 34,400, a price that applies to the variant with a 110 hp 30 TFSI gasoline engine under the hood coupled to the manual gearbox. A small snake is hidden here under the grass, as this is an engine version that will be available ‘later’. The A3 Sportback can be ordered immediately, although the engine list of the now available variants starts with the 35 TFSI.

The starting price of the A3 Sportback with 150 hp 35 TFSI as a power station is € 36,820. For that amount you get the Pro Line version. Audi’s youngest is in that case linked to a manual six-speed gearbox. That is incidentally the only transmission on the price list, versions with DSG machines also follow later. The 35 TFSI is also available in combination with equipment levels Business Edition, S Edition and Edition One, flavors that cost respectively € 36,820, € 40,820 and € 40,830.

Prefer a diesel engine in your new A3 Sportback? That is also possible, although the choice, just like on gasoline level, is rather brief. For the time being, Audi is only putting the 116 hp 30 TDI on the price list, an engine version that is only available in combination with the manual six-speed gearbox. The starting price: € 38,570. The basic price for the Pro Line version also applies here. Like the 35 TFSI, the 30 TDI is also available as a Business Edition (€ 38,570), as an S Edition (€ 42,570) and as Edition One (€ 42,760).

As mentioned, the above flavors can be ordered immediately. The delivery of the first new A3’s Sportback starts at the end of April.

Equipment

The standard equipment of the Pro Line includes separate climate control, rear parking sensors, cruise control, DAB + radio, and a multifunction leather-covered sports steering wheel. 16-inch alloy are also standard. The Business Edition adds such things as 17-inch light metal, full-LED viewers, MMI Navigation plus, Audi Virtual Cockpit, LED rear lights for sports seats and road sign recognition. The S Edition takes a sportier approach and in addition to the above features include the S-line exterior and interior package and a sports suspension. Introduction version Edition One is based on the S Edition, but afterwards has dark-tinted matrix LED headlights, dynamic direction indicators, 18-inch light metal and silver-colored inserts on the outside.
