You would expect that you can adjust the volume in the clock app, but there is not the option. No worries. We show you how you can check how loud your alarm is set. And how you can adjust it.

To change the volume, follow the steps below:

Set up and adjust the volume of your alarm clock on your iPhone

  1. Open the ‘Settings’ app;

  2. Scroll down and tap ‘Hearing and feeling’;

  3. Adjust the volume under ‘Beltoon and reports’.

If you have the setting ‘Change with buttons’, you can also change the volume of the alarm clock on the iPhone with the volume buttons on the side.

iOS 26 in short

Apple came in 2024 with iOS 18, in 2023 iOS 17 and in 2022 iOS 16. But this year the company chose to deviate from the usual numbering of the iPhone control system. Instead of iOS 19, Apple has announced iOS 26. They have also done this for Watchos, MacOS, TVOS and Visionos.

The new naming is not the only major change in the software this year. Apple has a renewed and uniform design for all operating systems, called Liquid Glass. This new design is based on Visionos, the operating system for the Apple Vision Pro. You therefore see many more transparent frameworks and glass elements.
