Apple does not add a function that we expect so far on the Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3. You need to know this.
This function does not come to Series 11 and Ultra 3
In March we wrote that Apple is planning to make more an AI-Wearable in the future of the Apple Watch and therefore on multiple versions of future Apple Watch models with cameras. The cameras are coming According to Mark Gurman Van Bloomberg only so that the device can ‘see the outside world’. We expected this function so far on the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3.
Bloomberg reports now That Apple is no longer planning to release an Apple Watch with a camera. Those cameras were not meant to be able to photograph with the Apple Watch. With the camera in the Apple Watch, the carrier of the Apple Watch could get information about objects and places in the neighborhood. But unfortunately this is not all of this.

You have to miss this
An Apple Watch with camera would have been able to do things as opening hours indicate when it was aimed at a restaurant or store, identify a plant, describe an object or offer translations. The function on the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 would have worked about the same as Visual Intelligence, an AI function on the iPhone with which you can focus the camera on something to get more information.
Apple was planning to release the Apple Watch models with camera in 2027, but the plans are off the track. It is possible that Apple will return the function in the future, but not to the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3. Moreover, it is not known why the development was stopped.
Apple is still developing AirPods with small cameras in it. The AirPods cameras can be infrared sensors to enable functions such as improved spatial audio, improved gesture control and AI functions.
