Apple is planning to increase the prices of the iPhone this year, so that the iPhone 17 may cost more than 2000 euros. This model is about it.
Apple increases prices
Apple is releasing four new iPhones again this year. In September the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max appear. All devices are provided with a new processor and get improved cameras. In addition, Apple adjusts the design of the PRO models for the first time in years and the regular iPhones are finally getting support for promotion. That means that the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air get an always-on screen.
There are many improvements to this year’s iPhones, but that is unfortunately also accompanied by price increases. According to rumors, Apple is planning to increase prices at the iPhone 17 by 50 euros with every version. That means that the entry model of the iPhone becomes more expensive than 1000 euros for the first time since the iPhone 14. With the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, prices are much higher, which means that a number of versions costs no less than 2000 euros.
iPhone 17 more than 2000 euros
Every iPhone is available in different versions. With the basic model you get 128 GB of storage space, but you can also opt for more storage space. The more storage space an iPhone has, the higher the price of the device. Due to the price increases, various iPhone 17 models exceed 2000 euros for the first time. In any case, this applies to the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 1 TB of storage space. The expected price for that device is 2029 euros.
According to rumors, Apple is planning to provide the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a maximum of 2 TB of storage space. With the iPhone 16 Pro (Max) you get a maximum of 1 TB of storage. Both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 2 TB of storage space in that case costs more than 2000 euros. For the iPhone 17 Pro (2 TB) you lay around 2300 euros, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max that is around 2500 euros.

Apple has never before sold an iPhone for more than 2000 euros, so the iPhone 17 will probably be the most expensive smartphone ever in the company. In that case you pay more than 2000 euros for the iPhone 17 Pro (2 TB) and the iPhone 17 Pro Max (1 TB and 2 TB). That is quite a price, but you will get a lot of storage space for that.
