on Monday 6 June the time has come: Apple’s WWDC keynote takes place. To 7 p.m. (Dutch time) Tim Cook takes the stage, where he will announce all kinds of new Apple software. This includes the highly anticipated iOS 16, the new version of Apple’s mobile operating system. It is likely that iOS 16 will bring interactive widgets, an improved lock screen, and an always-on feature to your iPhone.

We also expect to see watchOS 9, iPadOS 16, macOS 13 and tvOS 16. In other words, your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and Apple TV will soon get a big software upgrade face lift† Usually, Apple only announces software during the WWDC event, but according to several rumors, the manufacturer will also release an updated MacBook Air this year. This would get a new design and an M2 chip.

You can watch the WWDC livestream on Apple’s own website follow, but also through the Youtube Channel from the manufacturer. Apple’s revelations can also be viewed live on an Apple TV. With Apple TV 4K and Apple TV (4th generation), watch the event through the Apple TV app. This is installed as standard on the box.
