For over a year now, something new has been bubbling behind the scenes at McLaren that occasionally made itself heard, but now finally has no secrets anymore. This is the McLaren Saber, a brand new but also very exclusive new extremist.
The McLaren Saber may be brand new, but it is not a regular new model. The Saber is a hypercar developed by McLaren Special Operations and only 15 units will be available. The Saber is purely homologated for the car market of the United States and will therefore not be allowed on the road in Europe without modifications.
The Saber squeezes 836 hp and 800 Nm from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It is the most powerful non-hybrid combustion engine that McLaren has ever produced. Indeed, the Saber has more power than the 800 hp Senna and the 825 hp McLaren Senna GT-R. Serious stuff. With that lump of primitive primal force, the Saber is able to reach a top speed of 351 km / h.

The Saber is sold by the McLaren dealer in Bevery Hills, USA. However, the dealership does not have to actively sell the cars. All fifteen copies have already been given to customers who were actually involved in the development of the car. Extensive specifications keep McLaren under wraps.
