WhatsApp has added a cool new feature to its app. You can now easily create stickers from your own photos and even add extra elements to them.
Stickers in WhatsApp
WhatsApp has activated a new feature in its iOS app. It allows you to create stickers yourself using a new integrated editor.
This one is really easy to use. Have you ever created a Story in Instagram? That’s what WhatsApp’s sticker editor looks like. All you have to do is select a photo. This will then be cropped automatically. You then add emoji, other images, all kinds of text, etc., so that a unique composition is created. It is even possible to add the time or location automatically.
So now WhatsApp makes it possible to create your own stickers, which are then saved and can be edited later to add extra details.
This is how you make a sticker in WhatsApp
iPhoned explains exactly how it works. To create a sticker, open a conversation, tap the sticker icon, then tap the big plus button on the left. The editor will open immediately and you can create your sticker from a photo from your library.
The editor automatically makes your photo free-standing. You can add texts, extra elements or your own drawings using the buttons at the top right. Adjusting existing stickers works in a similar way. To do this, long press the selected sticker so that the option to edit a sticker appears. All additional tools are then available again.
Feature is rolling out now
Stickers can already be created in the web version of WhatsApp. The iOS version is now being gradually rolled out. If you have an older version of WhatsApp, you can edit existing stickers, but you cannot create new ones, according to WhatsApp.
