You would think that Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds have reappeared on the market, but in a separate version. However, this is a different product and that product was so popular that it was sold out in no time.
Pokémon Style Galaxy Buds Case
Samsung has not released a new version of these earbuds in South Korea, but a special case has been released. That case is completely in Pokémon style, including Pokémon stickers from Pikachu, Mew and Charizard, among others. You are supposed to put the case of your Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds Pro, or Galaxy Buds Live in this Pokéball. This way you can conjure earplugs out of your Pokéball. The Pokémon case costs 134,000 won, which is about 100 euros. Quite a lot of money for a case, but the small accessory was still very popular. According to this korean website the ‘Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon Monster Ball Cover’ sold out within 20 minutes.
Another such runner was the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition which Samsung released in South Korea last month. That edition sold out within 5 minutes of its release. On the Samsung website shows that the Pokémon case and the Galaxy Buds 2 pack is temporarily out of stock.
There has been no mention of the Pokéball’s availability outside of South Korea. Don’t assume that’s going to happen since Samsung’s Pokémon-style Galaxy Z Flip 3 hasn’t left the country’s borders either. Samsung also announced limited edition jeans last year especially for the owners of a Galaxy Z Flip 3. Those jeans have a special pocket on the side that fits the closed Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 perfectly. The jeans come with Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the set costs $1,499.
