Since December 2020, product pages in the App Store have a new section in which developers themselves explain in a simple, accessible way how they deal with privacy. Learn how developers collect and use your data, such as your location and browser history. According to Apple, this should contribute to more transparency and more control over your data.

Scroll down on a product page in the App Store and you will find below Privacy of app quickly and clearly which data is used to track you and also which data is collected but not linked to your identity. below See details you will find some extra details about how your data is handled and how it is stored.
If you really want to dive into the fine print, you can consult an extensive version of the privacy policy of a particular app by scrolling further down on a product page. below Information do you think Privacy Policy. When you click on it, you will be taken to the website of the relevant app developer, where you can learn more about how the app handles your data.
Apps on your phone
If you want to view the privacy policy of apps that are already on your phone, you can of course look up the app in the App Store and view the privacy policy there.
However, there is a slightly easier way, without having to look up apps individually. For that, go to the App Store on your iPhone and tap your profile icon at the top right of the screen. Within the Account menu you choose Purchases, after which you’ll get a list of all the apps you’ve downloaded in the past (even if they’re no longer on your phone). When you tap on an app, you will return to the product page and you can check your privacy information in the same way as described above. Press again Purchases to go back to the list of downloaded apps.
