On Sunday, December 7 from 2:00 PM Dutch time, Formula 1 fans will enjoy it. It will be an absolute spectacle in Abu Dhabi, because three drivers still have a chance to win the F1 world title in the final weekend.

Lando Norris is in the best position and has the greatest trump card, but Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri are anything but played out. The hunt for victory has not yet been decided and that promises something!

But where can you watch this F1 final live? Unfortunately, Formula 1 cannot be seen for free, but there are several options to reduce costs. We have clearly listed the options for you below.

Abroad, you can still watch the Formula 1 race live for free on regular television in some places. You can make good use of this with a VPN. It then seems as if you are looking from that location. This gives you access to streams that are normally not available here.

Formula 1 is broadcast free of charge in these countries:

• Austria: ORF and Servus TV (German);
• Switzerland: SRF (Swiss);
• Belgium: RTBF (French);
• Luxembourg: RTL Zwee (Luxembourgish).

Watching a live stream is simple: switch on the VPN, choose the desired country and surf to the website of the relevant broadcaster. Then you watch the race as always. And as an extra tip: turn on Grand Prix Radio at the same time for Dutch commentary from Olav Mol.

Watching F1 with ViaPlay: from 14.92 euros per month

In the Netherlands, the broadcasting rights of Formula 1 have been held by Viaplay for years. This makes this the most direct way to follow everything surrounding the sport. It’s new Viaplay TV+. If you choose this, you will receive an extra channel in your TV package that shows all Formula 1 races live, plus football and other sporting events.
