But where can you watch this F1 final live? Unfortunately, Formula 1 cannot be seen for free, but there are several options to reduce costs. We have clearly listed the options for you below.

Abroad, you can still watch the Formula 1 race live for free on regular television in some places. You can make good use of this with a VPN. It then seems as if you are looking from that location. This gives you access to streams that are normally not available here.
Formula 1 is broadcast free of charge in these countries:
- Austria: ORF and Servus TV (German);
- Switzerland: SRF (Swiss);
- Belgium: RTBF (French);
- Luxembourg: RTL Zwee (Luxembourgish).
Watching a live stream is simple: switch on the VPN, choose the desired country and surf to the website of the relevant broadcaster. Then you watch the race as always. And as an extra tip: turn on Grand Prix Radio at the same time for Dutch commentary from Olav Mol.
Preferably use a reliable paid VPN service. Free options are often slow and make their money by selling your data. The following parties are reliable and have servers in the above countries.

View VPN Netherlands: from €1.19 p/m

View Surfshark: from €1.99 p/m

View CyberGhost: from €2.03 p/m

View NordVPN: from €2.99 p/m
Watching F1 with ViaPlay: from 14.92 euros per month
In the Netherlands, the broadcasting rights of Formula 1 have been held by Viaplay for years. This makes this the most direct way to follow everything surrounding the sport. With a subscription you can not only watch all the Grands Prix live, but also the free practices, qualifications and extra programs about the popular sport.

You will also find plenty of other content on Viaplay. Think of documentaries that delve deeper into teams and drivers, but also a large selection of films and series for when there is no racing weekend.
The price depends on how you take out the subscription. If you go for an annual subscription with advertising and pay the amount in one go, it amounts to: €14.92 per month. If you prefer to pay monthly for the same annual subscription, then that is fine €16.99 per month.
Anyone who wants to remain completely flexible and cancel monthly will pay €19.99 per month. Please note that in these variants you will also see commercials during the live broadcasts.
Would you rather avoid that advertisement? Then there is Viaplay Standard. That costs €21.99 per month or €19.99 with an annual subscription. If you pay for the entire year in advance, the price even drops to… €16.59 per month. With every Viaplay subscription you also automatically receive: F1 TV Pro there.
Watch ViaPlay via your internet provider
You can also arrange Viaplay directly through your provider. Nice and clear, because you get everything on one invoice and you don’t have to keep an eye on separate payments. You pay for the Basic subscription with all major providers (Odido, Ziggo, KPN, Delta and Youfone). €19.99 per month.
It’s new Viaplay TV+. If you choose this, you will receive an extra channel in your TV package that shows all Formula 1 races live, plus football and other sporting events. This costs €16.99 per month. Useful to know: this is not the same as Viaplay TV, the channel that you already have as standard. The latter only shows summaries of F1 races.
