Three-door Ford Bronco plows through the snow

Ford will add a completely new offroader to its model range later this year, a car for which the Bronco model name draws from the mothballs. For the first time, footage of the three-door version of that adventurous Ford appears.

The North American car market has been crying out for years for the return of the Bronco, and in early 2017, Ford finally gave the crowd what it was all about. The Bronco would return. In the meantime, packed test specimens have appeared on the screen several times, although up to now it has always been the five-door version. Our espionage photographer has now also been shown the shorter three-door variant.

The Bronco becomes a model with which Ford wants to put the Jeep Wrangler on fire. That means that the Bronco becomes a relatively straightforward offroader for which an extensive accessory catalog will undoubtedly be compiled. The shorter three-door version of the Bronco can be seen on these photos. The camouflage work on the roof and on the rear part of the Bronco may indicate that the roof will be almost completely removable. Indeed, just like with the Wrangler. With the Bronco R Concept, Ford already gave a good indication of what we can expect from a definitive production version.

Ford has already indicated that it will pull off the Bronco in the spring. However, this may already be in April during the New York Auto Show. We are waiting.
