Already in public

The current, fifth generation Renault Clio has been with us for four years. So time for a facelift. Although Renault is not yet showing the new Clio itself, we can already show the facelifted French success!
Renault conjured up the current generation of the Clio during the Geneva Motor Show. The model did not cause any major visual surprises, as it was clearly a design revolution from its predecessor. We are now four years later and things have changed at Renault in the design field. Although the Clio with its C-shaped protrusions on the headlights looks perfectly in line with the still young Renault Mégane E-tech Electric, that design element does not seem to have a long life. We no longer see them on the new Renault Clio.
The Renault Clio as it still looks today.
We know that thanks to a post on Twitter. A Spanish Twitter user ran into the renewed Renault Clio in Valencia. Apparently Renault was busy shooting promotional material of the facelifted Clio. The renewed Renault Clio seems to get a sharper snout with flatter headlights and a completely new light signature. The LED daytime running lights are no longer incorporated in the C-shaped spur. Instead, the Clio gets two-part, hook-shaped LED elements that extend far down on both sides of the front. We already saw something of this on the Vision Scénic study model, so it seems that future Renaults will have a similar light signature.
The Renault Scénic Vision already hinted at the new Renault front.
There is not much more to say about the design. We expect that the rear light units will also be tightened and that Renault will modernize the interior of its competitor of cars such as the Peugeot 208. It may not be long before Renault presents the new Clio itself.
It is certainly not the first time that a new model or new study model from Renault appears in public. For example, we were able to show you the Renault Morphoz Concept before its unveiling.
